Welcome to New Balance Nicole, a blog dedicated to my journey of finding a healthy and happy balance.  Formerly known as an unhealthy, unbalanced girl, I am now a healthy foodie, nutrition nerd, confident woman, encourager, exercise advocate, and valued by my always-faithful Father and Lord.

My hope is that this blog will encourage others and act as a “journal” to record my never-ending, always-changing journey called life. What you will {normally} find here is recipes, adventures of finding balance, my relationship with food, life as a college student, and advice on eating real food.

Healthy is a process, not a quick fix. Healthy is real food, not a pill. Healthy is a life style, not a diet.

Extra Tidbits

I love to organize. Anything, and everything.

Walks are my anti-depressant. And decorating cupcakes.

My dream vacation is Dublin, Ireland to see where my dad was adopted from.

I have yet to meet a fruit I don’t like.

I have a miniature apricot-colored poodle, Topy. He resembles a teddy bear.

I wish I could make smores over a campfire every night.

 I’m obsessed with country music. I could listen all. day. long.

I try to live by this motto….
